    My Tige 1997 2002prewt

    Should read 1997 PRE 2002 W/T

My inboard direct drive is for sale. Dealership is going to give me under retail for it on trade so if anyone wants to throw something over 15500 my way and pick it up with cash, it is yours. Photos can be found @
    http://www.wakeboatworld.com/index.p...d=21&Itemid=60

Since these photos other upgrades have been made. There is a near new Atwood SAS avenir seat at the helm, a Fresh Air Exhaust has been installed, and largest is the brand spankin new McClain trailer it is sitting on. List of details follow these pics.

    ~280 hours
Sits on a McClain full aluminum trailer model 2252 (5500 pounds) (pics at www.wakeboatworld.com/newTrailer centering bunks have been added for easier loading)
    Complete electrical overhaul
    Monster Tower
Full marine audio install, all rockford (everything is at RMS) except kicker 6x9 on the tower; two Rockford amps in the dry storage
Dual Exide batteries; auto switching so you don't get left stranded if you jam out for too long
    includes:
Rockford 10" marine infinite baffle sub
    Rockford marine comps (2 sets)
    Remote bass near driver
Transom remote (so you can change tunes while you swim)
Rockford Marine Head UNit (9220 I think...the highest model)
All audio is protected and all new wiring
New carling electrical components (switches, fuses, etc)
    Fresh Air Exhaust
    MSD coil
Cipa Comp II and cipa comp mirrors.
DB electrical alternator (120Amp I think)
1 season old 3 blade prop. Acme spec't for pulling
    PSS shaft seal
    New flip up cleats
Boat has been polished and sealed just this year (this is yearly maintenance for me)
New vinyl on 80% of boat
    Globe run-dry impeller
New Teleflex steering wheel mounted to the tilt steering
nearly new Avenir helm seat (this thing is saweeeet)

As far as the bad goes, it burned some oil but I have been through compression test, valve guides, seals etc and chalked it up to just having some blow by from high RPM opeation. I switched the engine oil out to a Schaeffer's moly with a moly pro racing additive and it hasn't been any issue since. It has one small spot on the carpet where the traffic is high, but the floors are solid and the stringers are still fine (they are encased in about 2 inches of fiberglass; one reason the boat is so heavy). It has the expected gelcoat nick or two, and I just had a couple of spots repaired under the boat locally.

The motor is a full roller Marinized GM small block with vortec heads. Compression on all cylinders is over 168.

I am sure I am missing a bunch of stuff, but this covers the majority of everything. The boat was appraised last summer for $17500 or higher. I have copies of the appraisal somewhere. You can also have a fat bench by Fly high (600lbs), and a walk through sac (250lbs I think).

The bimini, board racks, tower mirror arm and all my gear are going with me. All the audio and the Monster are staying on the boat if it sells. Anyone who wants to ride can come on by. If it doesn't throw enough wake, I have plenty of sacs to help you out.

I just had the boat out 3 weekends ago and it is running like a champ ready to have fun on the lake. This is a fresh water boat.

I am located in Broussard, LA. If the age worries you, don't let it. I have been over every square inch of this boat as I worked on making it new again. It is top notch and an affordable entry into the world of inboards. I have been known as a tight wad, but like my wife says, "That doesn't apply to vehicles or your girlfriend (this boat)."

WOW after all that hard work you are going to sell her.

I'm sure you will get a bite very soon. Good luck

That was the plan all along, but I was going to use it for maybe one more year. If I can sell it, it stages me a little better for the opportunity on the 22V I am looking at.

I don't know about getting bites though. The market seems to be pretty low. I think this is priced OK.

The market is there SP... I get about 1-2 inquires per week but it is just the start of the season. Again, I also have a boat that is price above 90% are willing to pay also. But, the price you are asking and the amount of work that you have put into the boat makes your boat a bargain.

I tried to price under what others of the same model that are listed on onlyinboards and boattrader are priced at, and most of them are IMO not in nearly the same shape as mine. There even FSLM (closed bows) between '94 and '96 listed at dealers for $17000. That just seems high.

Yeah, that's one of the cleanest/loaded 97's anyone is going to find. Good luck with the sale.

What he said. It is a good fit, though there isn't enough room for any type of pedestal.
