Ya I am almost positive that the EIDB has an isolator. Moki are you referring to the stock dual battery system or to people who added a battery w/out adding an isolator?

Sorry for the confusion, I am referring that if you have the stock alternator and are adding a 2nd battery on your own.

In 05 they only had a Perko switch and no isolator. So some of us guys have toyed with the idea of putting an aftermarket isolator in.

All you would need to do is run new wire from your alternator to the isolator and then to your batteries -- no more switching to charge the battery. If you skip 7 lunches, it is paid for -- Wait you're a doctor, the drug reps buy you lunch everyday.
