Depending on your elevation that prop is a beast. I’m in Denver and boat as high as 7500’ with my 22VE fully loaded with people and ballast without issue. My boy has an RZ2 with a different engine and drive and it’s the same for him. Another buddy has a Z3 with surf XL ballast and it was great in Denver but slightly lacking the bottom end at 7500’. He opted for a 2419 at high elevations and the 1235 at lower elevations.
If you’re below 5000’ it’ll perform awesome on sub 23’ boats.
1235 was a huge upgrade for me on my rz4. Running about 3k in ballast. Only lost about 1 mph on top end and the wave cleans up so fast compared to my 537.
If the OP sells his, I know where a brand new one can be had for black friday pricing

Hey Mike, I'm looking to get a better surf prop for my 08' 22Ve. Our lake is around 1000'. Is the 1235 still what everybody recommends? We mostly surf with a little wakeboarding from time to time and still like to cruise also. I messaged shoebox but I assume his is already gone by now based on the other posts. What kind of pricing you got on one?
I had this prop on both my supra and my 22ve and loved it. worked great at 2400ft in boise and flat in green bay. lost a little on the top end but both boats would still top out in the high 30's without feeling like I was pushing them.
loaded up and out of the hole this prop is great......
