    ISO convex VX plate

As the title says. I am looking for a convex VX plate for my 08 z1

Why? There are much better options out there.

I may have a line on an avx that would work.

        ISO convex VX plate

The 08 Z1 is narrower than almost every other Tige. The only boat that would work as a donor is an R20/RZR.

Although I love my Vx wave if I didn’t have it already I’d go with a Go Surf Assist.

Go buy some actuators plastic board and hinges and make a surf gate system and then slam the boat with ballast. That will make the best wave.

That was in the plans but the back of my hull makes it a bit complicated...

This is just my opinion(not worth the .02), but the VX and the AVX does really wake up 21' hulls. The VX and AVX on the 23' hulls works but tou need a lot more weight to go with it.

Which I guess leads me to the real question(s). What are you after? How are you running the boat currently?? Are you running any kind of shaper or listed??

Just wondering. Only other VX I know of that might become available is on a z3...

I am currently running 300-500 in the bow and 800 in each locker with a homemade suck gate. The wave size is great!! The problem I am having is the length of the wave... if we fall 10-15 back in the wave we can’t recover. I was going to bite the bullet on a new sled this year but decided to give my z1 a few more years of love.

Ive never surfed that gen Z1 using a surf apparatus, but listed, it always liked WAY more bow weight, then say a 22V/Ve ever did.

My old 08 z1 ran best for surf evenly weighted with a suck gate, and a ton of junk in the trunk. Theres a ratio with the bow weight to run best 4 or 5:1), bc too much bow and the wave sucks. alao try speeding up, as long as you are propped out correctly. In the end, wave length (and freeboard) was one of the main reasons i went to a new 23'
