Looking to make my first tige purchase. I’m surching for a 2005-2007 24v/ve looking to spend around 35,000

This showed up in the local Craigslist. No trailer, though there is a local trailer company that makes custom trailers. The old local Tige dealership has used them for years.

Gotta love an ad that doesnt list hours or what engine package it has.

The description is literally just a copy and paste of the typical manufacture sayings.

I’m in St. Louis but willing to travel if it’s worth it.

I agree that the owner should know their boat better, but I know how most of the clientele in the area and most have more money than they know what to do with. My boat came from the same area with only 133 hours on it; the dealer had full service records from purchase but they said that the owner didn't know the difference between a bilge plug and an impeller.

Good looking boat, but my hunch is that it is a salt water, or at least brackish water boat. I would rather have 1200 hours in fresh water than 120 in salt. I would make sure it has never seen salt water if it was me, unless you are planning on using it in salt yourself that is...

I personally was scared away from an 04 nautique because it only had 160 hours (and had also been in brackish water once). I bought my 09 rz4 with 700, and use it the same way it was used in the past... a lot. I put 130 hours on her last year. I was worried taking a boat that has had 160 hours in 13 years, and hitting the engine with 130 in one year may be a bad thing... I hane no evidence to support that theory though, except a few stories about people buying older low mileage cars and having problems.
