    WTB: PerfectPass for 1997 Tige

This is probably a long shot but I am looking for a perfect pass or cruise system to install in my 1997 Tige 2150wt. Scouring eBay but everything on there is new and still big $$. I know this is probably what I need to spend but figure it wouldn't hurt to throw it out there!

    Thanks.

Look at hydrophase as well. Very solid unit. But yes, they are all expinsive.

I think I installed mine in 2013. It has been great. There was a PP dealer that used to do group buys for this product every year, but no longer does. He is a great guy and knows his inboards. His regular price is probably less than other dealers. Give him a try. Just don't mention any group buys. He is way over it.

I see you're in the Vancouver area. Everywhere is probably going to be the same expensive price, so you might as well go local. I would take a look at redline, John is a great guy to deal with, I know they just recently closed but I think they might still be doing work. If not I would go check out extreme boat sports or performance marine.

Make sure you get GPS based. Installation is a piece of cake. I don't think I've ever seen anyone sell a used perfect pass system. For some reason once they put it on their boat it never comes off again.

I'd check around on some of the other boat forums to see if anyone is doing a group buy. When i bought a setup for my old Mastercraft i found a group buy on the Nautique forum that a dealer in Florida was doing and got in on that. I saved about $200 US that way. Funny thing was that even though Perfect Pass is a Canadian company they refused to ship it to me direct. So it went from them in Nova Scotia down to a dealer in Florida and then back to me in Saskatchewan. It was still far cheaper than buying direct from them.

Also look at the Hydrophase. Its a decent setup too and i'm pretty sure its a little cheaper than Perfect Pass.
