Go with the 1617. Especially if it's just surf.

Low elevation, 340 MP or 343 PCM....................I wouldnt be afraid to run the 1433. Higher elevation.....i would for sure consider the 1617 for its .75" lower pitch.

A 1235 should work on an 08 Z1 but I would check trail clearance.

I am under the impression the 1235 has a clearance issue on that particular version of the Z1. If not the 1235 would definitely be the best option.

The 1617 is more aggressive than the 1433, assuming you have the 1466/1579 variant on there now the 1433 doesn't really give you a ton more umff. The only reason to opt the 1433 over the 1617 is if you still tube, ski more than 50% of the time. If most of your water time is surfing or boarding with weight the 1617 is the better choice.

I took data comparing all 3. The 1579/1465 to the 1433 to the 1617. I'll see if I can pull that up. It was while ago.

Unless theres been a change already, the OEM prop would have been the 537. Going to the 1433 would is a heck of a difference.

I ran the 1235 on my 08 with no issues. Great prop for surfing!

I had the 1433 on the 22v and it was night and day over the 537. No issues at all with the 1433 - all we do is surf.

320 HP? If so, I would not go to the 14.5 1235. id stay no larger then a 14.0. Dropping pitch will gain your the most, but going up in dia is going to be harder for the motor to spin.

Last year I chewed up a 537 on LBJ. Ran in to Austin and picked up a 1433 at Nettles. Super impressed with this change on my 05 22V. Mostly surf these days.

I have a 1617 on my 24V with the 6.0L motor. Only time it complained was at Lake Tahoe, it gave me a whole new appreciation for elevation.
