None right now. I experimented with different sizes and thought I had it figured it with Mike customs sacs but then I did the Malibu surf gate experiment and the customs where to much so I sold them (on this site I believe) and never replaced , decided to put the boat up for sale instead. I can tell you that if I was to keep the boat the 700# sacs work really good for what I was doing with the surfgate set up.

Is the rear plumbed for ballast? Did the surfgate stuff get removed?

Yes the rear is plumbed with 1" hose and Atwood 1200 pumps for fill and drain and all the switches are factory

the surf gate stuff was just an experiment I had done it was a quick bolt-on piece of plywood that I bolted to the swim deck using the holes in the deck bracket ts and you could remove it in 2 minutes. I had planned on making something more permanent but just decided to sell the boat

I have the same boat and that step looks awesome and would help with the surf wake.

So in the last month I've had 3 people call the questions. First question was from a guy with a 07 RZ4, he was stranded on the lake and wanted to ask if I new where the fuel filter was. The second question was from a guy that had the same year and model boat and asked if I new what the switch does that is below the throttle. The third question was a guy who's first sentence was will you take 36K. I still surprised that this boat hasn't sold.

Probably the price bud. Hate to say it but I just bought the exact same boat with the exception of the swim platform upgrade for 42k and it only has 280 hrs on it. It sucks but that is where the market is right now. And this is in Canada as well. How did you go about doing the platform?

That's cool your boat has a 2K+ upgraded Bimini, automated ballast, new cabin carpet, reinforced engine walls etc..... And you got a smokin deal at 42 ( mines listed at 41500 now) and you probably feel like you got a great deal cause it has half the hours. My boat runs great and has been very well maintained and cared for and has was actually used by myself and the previous owner. Blows me away the amount of people that spend the money we spend on these boats and after 8 years have only 280hours of use. Oh ya the swim platform was done using aluminum and fiberglass. Not trying to be a di&k but tired of hearing hours hours is why you can't sell. A educated owner of a boat understands the plus and minus of a low hour boat its not all good.

I am convinced it's the lack of water. Everyone knows California is in a draught and people are seeing picture that make it look like the lakes are completely unusable.

To quote my dad, "its only worth what someone will pay for it." Upgrades are nice, but buyers don't care unfortunately. Its like selling a Harley with lots of chrome; they basically become give-a-ways when it comes time to sell.

You knock the price down to a point where the hours seem fine to a buyer who doesn't know you or your boat, and it will garner interest. It a simple as that. Good luck on the project, I know it sucks to consider less $ than what the receipts add up to be. But its a toy, and they are that way. Gigantic wastes of money, but sure fun!

                                Good luck friend.
