    2013 z1

Hey guys. Just wondering what a good price for this boat would be. I know what they listed it at. But it's a hold over so I know that It will depreciate even more as soon as I drive it home.

    Thanks.

With the 409 upgrade, which most likely isn't needed for the Z1 I would say 70-72k. Our 2013 that we traded, equipped similar but with the 343 - 35 hours is listed at 64k.

Thats now a 2 year old boat with 15's on the floor at many dealers. I don't even know if you get full warranty on a 2 year hold over?? 409 upgrade on a Z1 is really an odd thing. Its way over kill for that boat and burns way more fuel than the 343. Knowing where 2 hold over 14's are priced I wouldn't pay anything over Dandy's 64K number. Dandy's old boat may be "listed at" 64K, but I had a guy tell me he passed on it for well under 60K, if I recall I think he was offered it at 58K. Makes that boat worth maybe 62K. So they are only over priced 20 grand!!!

It looks loaded up and that's why the high price, 409 and a VX is not common on a 2013.
Since I know what I paid for my 2014 z3 and have seen used and leftover z3 for under $70,000 I agree low to mid 60,000 max.

Boardman is correct, $64k is the "listed" price on our old boat and they were clear that they have room to move. I can see where the logic is that mid to low 60s would be about right - because once you sign for it, it becomes a used boat - but you have to get the dealer on board with that program. I do not belive that boat manufacturers provide any incentives back to their dealers for holdovers like the auto industry does. This dealer most likely owns the boat for the same money (actually more with holding costs) as they did the day they recieved it. Yes, it will be a 2 year old boat, so their cost on it is less than cost on a 2015 Z1, however I doubt at this time they would want to lose on it. My guess is if you could find out what their cost was, you might be able to pick it up for that.

Nick, the price you pay is between you and Bill's Marine. However, I can tell you that I couldn't be more pleased with any dealer than I am with the folks at Bill's. They are first rate folks and I would buy from them again in a hear beat. Next week marks the 1 year anniversary of our 2014 Z3. Do your homework and then make them a fair offer. This was the dealer's personal vehicle, so you know she's been well cared for.
              Good luck,

                  My Z3 is a 2014

Love it even though it's had a serious motor problem since new and still not fixed!!!

That story is on another thread.
