WTB: Tige Board Racks for Alpha Z

Per the title, anyone with a set of Tige board racks for the Alpha Z tower, feel free to drop me a PM. I need the complete assemblies, not just the fingers. Specifically, I need the port side rack if anyone happens to have a single rack to part with ...... Thanks.

If you haven't considered it, now might be a good time to install the Sampson swivel racks. They have a release handle to make swiveling them very easy and they lock in the outside as well as the inside positions so they stay put when trailering. We really liked ours - simple to release and smooth.

Where can a person get the clamping racks like the Tige ones or are the Tige ones the only available on the market? Are the clamping ones worth the extra $$? How much do the clamp racks run versus bungee type? I personally wish I would've ordered em with my boat as they look a lot easier to strap boards down on. The bungee can be a pain and painful if not held tight when strapping!

Last I had heard the clamping racks are currently exclusive to Tige and either Malibu or MC. They would need to be purchased through your local Tige dealer. There are rumors on another forum that they may be available aftermarket in the near future....rumors.

Thanks for all the replies. I have considered the Samsons, but was hoping to avoid the $1500 for a bit yet. I really don't like the Tige racks at all, but replacing the broken one with someones cast off's is a bit more economical - at least for the short term.

For what it's worth, I did look into what the clamping racks would run and I was quoted in the order of $4000. Aside from the convenience of the clamps, they still suffer most of the same shortcomings of the regular racks. That is, they don't lock to the inside, and they angle downward when swung to the inside of the boat.
