    2013 Z1 w/VX For Sale

We traded off our 2013 Z1 yesterday because the sales tax savings against the new boat (in MN we pay tax on the trade difference) made it worth while to simply trade vs. selling. That is correct, they will be delivering the new boat to us tomorrow (weather permitting). Being Marine Max, we could have gone with a Scarab but that would have been a huge 180, so good guess on the Nautique.

A button that allows you to turn on the Tige Touch without turning on the ignition key, it was added as a standard feature for the 2014 models and some people retro-fitted it to the earlier models like this one.

We switched to Nautique (G23) for a few reasons. 1st off, we really didn't intend to shop but went to see friends at the Chicago In-Water boat show and the local Nautique dealer had a few on the water so I couldn't resist but check them out as they and a Malibu dealer were the only wakeboats there - it was mainly +/- $1 mil boats (we went to dream as we love being in/on and around water). Because of this, I realized how much Malibu has started to decline over the last 5 or so years in fit/finish. Saw the G21 and caught interest, got back and swung into MarineMax as we pass by them on the way to MSP. For some reason there were a few things about the Z1 that just started kinda bugging us, so we looked. We had a great Tige dealer, but as I have posted before they brand has to give me something to keep me loyal to them and the dealer has to provide service after the sale to keep me coming back to them. Unfortunately for my dealer, nothing Tige appealed to us. Our new dealer is also about +/- 30 mins closer than our old dealer which makes a difference as well. I am not nor ever will be a Pro Surfer, so the debate about "world class surf wave" is wasted on me at this time. We wanted something that we could easily set up, adjust and change back and fort for Surfing, Wakeboarding and yes tubing as that is what our family and friends to and most days out, we do them all. The G23 just had huge storage (surfboards & wakeboards fit in the rear lockers), nice fit/finish, is still with PCM and we really like the ease of the LINC II control. I don't feel Tige makes a bad boat we just realized that we use out boat different than we thought we would and the Z1 just slowly frustrated us with the little things.

Thanks for the complements on the Z1, my daughter, wife and I all built the boat we wanted and picked a winner. The Z1 was a combination of my daughters & wife's. They just have a better eye for style than I do.

I do not at this time, my wife and I both work in a very seasonal business and we struggled to find time to get the install done and still get on the water. I did take pictures and plan to share this fall (good off season project). I had a lot of help from 2 Mikes - Chpthril and mnpracing, both were a HUGE HELP. The idea actually came from mnpracing

                That is a sexy boat!
Thanks Detonate - I will pass that along to my wife and daughter!

It looks as if Marine Max has lowerd the price on our old boat. I am willing to be that they would take it down further to get it moved this year.
