2006 20i With Tower For Sale

Folks, here's the scoop. I'm selling my 20i. I just turned 60, have two torn rotator cuffs and arthritis. My watersports days are over. I purchased this boat in 2008 from a gentleman who won it in a raffle. Gettysburg Marine in Gettysburg PA was the originating dealer. I have only ever used it in the Potomac River in Northern Maryland. Last season it never even made it in the water. It has never been in salt water. The pictures show the condition with out a lot of explanation. It has 143 hours on it. It spent it's winters indoors. It spent it's summers in a covered dock suspended on a lift. Flaws....there was a very small snag ( about 3/4 in) in the front bow cushion from a ski binding which has repaired with white silicone. The transom has a bit of the notorious red boat sun fade where it caught the late afternoon sun in the dock. Meguiars Boat Wax brings it right back to new. In addition there is a little drying of the silver vinyl on the trailing edge of the rear hatch cushions. The interior received several coats of 303 a season. There is some minor dock rash on the black gunwale insert. The diamond plate on the trailer is dulled from weather. I have owned several other V8 boats in the past all of which came with the miserable Holley carb. I pulled the Holley off and replaced it with an Edelbrock Performer Marine Carb which totally changes the boat. The hole shot for slalom and barefooting is amazing now. The factory cover cutouts fit perfectly with the tower. The 1 year old tower speakers have never been connected. They are Kickers just like the inboard speakers. The usual Tige stuff...TAPS, etc. I also am selling a 2008 Crest III XRS 2570 Pontoon with Bunk Trailer if anyone is interested. We sold the dock it resided in. It didn't get wet last year either. Wife wants a small deck boat that will fit in the Tige's dock. Wanted to start here with selling it. I've obviously never been a poster but respect the brand loyalty and camaraderie. I really don't want to resort to Craigslist or Ebay unless I have too. Looking at $23,500 for the Tige and trailer. If you guys think I'm high on my asking price please let me know....if someone thinks I'm low please buy it. I have a lot more pictures if anyoneP4240017.jpgP4240022.jpgP4240028.jpgP4240032.jpgP4240035.jpg wants them. Thanks for looking

price is definitely inline IMO I sold my 01 with 400hr last season for 17k and could've got more if I wanted to set on it. You might even be on the low end but area definitely sets the price on these. Had similar options as yours. Nice boat BTW good luck with sale. Try listing on onlyinboards.com and possibly boattrader.com just beware of scammers on them

Thanks JLG for the input. You're right. I will check out the other sale sites. Would surely hit a broader audience.

Sorry to hear you're getting out of it but good luck. As we say in our family, getting old is hell.

I am interested in what you did with swapping out your Holley. I have the same engine, same year (in a V-drive) and am tired of the Holley carb. I've had mine professionally tuned and adjusted but it still acts like an old carb. If cold, I have to not only give it a pump or two before I start it (I expect that) but also once it's running I have to stab the throttle just to keep it from dying when you put it into gear. One or two stabs and it's good but it would be nice to have a smoother running boat.

I have heard others say the Edelbrock is a better carb and want to know what's involved with swapping it out, besides the $400 for the carb. What model number is it (600cfm 4bbl right)? Is it pretty much ready out of the box or did you have it tuned after the install? Did you do it yourself? I've swapped out small engine carbs but never a V-8.

The beauty of the Edelbrock is that it is bolt on and go. I can't remember the part number but I bought it from Summit. The only thing I needed to do was rerout the fuel line and lower the idle speed to make docking easier. Never had to do any mixture adjustments.. It will make it a new boat. When you drop the hammer the lag is gone. It will smoke most of the EFI boats 0 to 30. In my opinion well worth the money especially if you eBay the Volley.

Thanks. I think ill give it a shot. Ive spent more on things with less return. Good luck on your sale. I think you have it priced very fair. Its a nice looking boat so I doubt you'll have trouble selling it.
