Looking to upgrade to another boat

My son and I are going to upgrade to a 24ve this spring. Price range and style the 2006-2008 24ve is our choice. We have searched all the available search engines: Only inboards, boattrader, boats.com and the like and just can't find the one we want. Mostly the ones we like are across the country; in which the transport puts the overall price higher. We reside in North Idaho and if someone out there has one they need to move please let me know.

Welcome to the site. You have to realize Northern ID is not a major market, so you will probably have to travel to find a specific boat like you are looking for.
    Try http://www.ksl.com/index.php?nid=231...7&category=142
You can filter the listings by state on the left side of the page.
Here is one, but it's in WY?

    Good luck!

          Thanks Mike, 18c and BCRider,
Yeah the Northwest selection(s) is sparse and we know the transportation issue is going to stick us a bit. First time I have seen the Wyoming and BC boats. Going to have the son call on them tomorrow, I am currently deployed (again).
          Wyoming looks promising,
          Thanks again guys

Here are several 24ve in the missouri area. Haven't seen them just pulled a search for them as I knew there were several in that area.

              Thanks JLG

Thanks for the help. We tried to move on the 2008 in Ozarks but the day after we called, it sold to a walk in customer. The 2008 in Osage has a different tower, so perhaps not (being picky here). The 2007 we called on but a few items on it just give me the wrong feel and I really want the fiberglass swim deck.
The 2006 is new to my search, if the Wyoming one doesn't pan out we will start over on that one.

Darn shopping is killing me but I want the right boat.
              Thanks again for the help.

I know this is way out of the way, but maybe it will help you determine the market price.

This one might be of interest: Doesn't have the vision seat but looks like a nice boat, but pictures can lie

                    Paul,

I have a 06 24ve I am contemplating selling. Has the 6.0l no factory ballast but some sumo sacs, makes a great surf wake IMHO. Right around 200 hours new 1235 prop last year. Could use a couple of cushions done. We are in Kamloops 390 miles from Sandpoint. Price would be somewhere around 36k. PM me with your email and I could send some pics if you're interested.

idk if you have found one yet. but ive had 2 2008 24ve.s & there very nice boats. my 1st one did not have the intergrated factory ballast & was not happy with the wakeboard wake size. yet, its usually just 1 passenger & 1 driver towing me. the 2nd 24ve i had was awsome because it had the 4 ballest fill/unfill tab swithces just below the speedset. you will take a few more minutes adjusting the wake simply because you have to guess about how long you have been filling the balllest. on newer models this is solved mostly with the tigetouch ( shows fill levels). A friend of mine currently owns the the 2nd 24ve and is still in excellent condition.. he is looking to get out of watersports and start fishing. sounds dumb but his call i guess. inside secret is im sure he will negoite on price. he will deliver or meet as well. here is the link from only inboards. his name is andrew! if you decide to contact him remember to tell him Tucker referred you. Good Luck Boating season is almost here !!! https://www.onlyinboards.com/Details.aspx?ID=42642

Thanks to this site and Mike Allen, I purchased my first Tige after being in the hunt for 10 years. Mike pointed me in the right direction and we closed on the 2008 24Ve.

We are really pleased with the boat we got, this 2008 24Ve, 360h.p. 120hour boat looks like it came off the showroom floor. The previous owner Brent took care of his ride. Immaculate condition with just about every option you could want. My son picked it up yesterday and although I can only view it via pictures (current overseas deployment) I can tell you I am glad I waited until the right one presented itself.

So here is a picture (son in transit with it) and I am sure that I will be pinging the forums for additional info in the future.

Thanks again for everyone who dropped a lead or gave me some pointers.

That's a nice looking boat. Congrats. There are several TOs in your neck of the woods, I'm usually on Hayden lake, what part of N Idaho do you plan to run that baby. Is this your first inboard? If you need any help figuring it out let us know, we're glad to help.

                              Thanks Ewok,
Appreciate the help offer. My first ownership of an inboard, although we have rented one in the years past during our two week Priest Lake trip. Just having an inboard for a few days really made the trip with surfing and a decent wake for wakeboarding. I am sure I am going to ping the columns for help (have a ballast issue that I want to resolve asap). We usually run the Spokane River, launching at Q'emlin Park early in the a.m. and off before everyone awakens and jams up the river. I am about 10 mins from the park so the river is always my first choice. Got a buddy with pontoon boat moored at Templins, might even grab a slot so the wife doesn't have to deal with towing. Right now just giddy with excitment to get home and use it.
                              Thanks again.
