Fair Price? High and Low end

So I am getting my boat all fixed up and ready to throw on the market. Its time to upgrade!!! But im not sure on what i should ask for it and was hoping for some ideas. Here are the specs...

    1998 Tige Pre2002 WT
    250 hours
only tears/rips in interior is on the engine cover
stereo is 4 speakers in boat with a 12" sub. sounds pretty good and loud but nothing spectacular.
brand new head unit with an ipod docking station instead of CD's plus SD card slot and USB slot as well as AUX in on the front (no skipping of music plus you can easily store up to 50Gigs of music with the memory options.
New trailer tires, Bearings are fresh and packed, great on long hauls.
    Missing drivers side windshield section...
No tower but do have a extended sky pylon with a board rack for 4 boards for wakeboarding.
teak swimdeck that has been ryno lined purple to match the boat.
currently debadged because i had a top notch buff and wax job done to it. Might replace decal graphics before selling..
New battery system with multi position switch and 3 batteries, 2 for the house and 1 for cranking.
On board battery charger that can charge all 2 batteries at once.
    heavy duty towable cover

thats all there is to it..great running boat very solid, just looking to upgrade into something a lot newer and A LOT BIGGER!!
This was my first boat and id have to say it is perfect for a starter boat.

Let me know what you guys think is a fair asking price. What should i start out at and what should be my bottom dollar? thanks for the help.

So i think i am going to keep the boat for another year. While doing so i plan on putting a tower on it, redo the interior, find a way to replace the glass on the driver side windshield (gonna cost an arm and a leg!!!!) and lastly put at least a half wrap if not a full wrap on the boat. After doing all this i might be happy enough with the boat to keep it for another summer or two but if anything it will bump up the resale value to a decent price once i decide to sell her.

      Sounds like a good plan.

It might have been a lot harder to sell with the missing glass as many would not want to go to the effort (and $) of replacing it.

your telling me!!!! i bought the boat with the glass shattered and only held in place by the window tint...guy told me he got an estimate for $500 to get it fixed and dropped that much off the asking price....after spending all last summer trying to resource the glass only to find out they dont make it anymore i figured out he stooped me cause tige AND taylor made told me all they could do is replace the entire windshield and frame to a newer style and the cheapest way would cost me 1200 just for parts!!!! I think im just gonna have a glass shop form some plexiglass or lexan to pop in there and call it good...

imo replace the glass properly...it will not sell with out it
otherwise don't put any more dough into the boat
there was an immaculate comparable model on ebay...guy wanted
$13K approx and it never sold.....boat didnt have a scratch on it, good luck!

Have you tried to call boat salvage yards? Its a long shot, but just might luck out.

I've always thought a boat salvage yard would be good, but are there any? If so, where? We should have a list a list of them stickied.

I agree Allen....I have spent many hours trying to source boat yards with not much luck...especially for glass....Globaltracker i agree, but i seen a couple in my area sell for 14k-16k in good condition. Ebay isnt the best place to buy a boat and therefor not a good place to go off of pricing.

considering what i payed for this boat, im going to throw a forward swooping monster tower on it, replace the entire windshield and frame to a newer taylormade style, touch up the interior in the few spots that need it, and lastly throw a bad *** wrap on it...ill keep it for the rest of this year and maybe part of next but plan to throw it on the market middle of next summer. I am confident that i will come out even when it is said and done.

i bought the boat for 8k last summer. boat runs like a champ with only 280 hours on the motor. I think i have plenty of wiggle room with fixing it up proper and still breaking even.
