Goals are to get sound to the surfer and for the wet sounds I was thinking Pro 80 or REV 8? I have heard some good things on the Kicker and I like the price of those a lot better. lol

The KTM60 does a good job for both a surf speaker and boarding. Its a great bang for the budget setup. The 2 6.5" mid-bass drivers and horn loaded tweeter p/pod are a good balance. Strong mid-bass yet solid projection from the horns. Power them with a 2chnl amp delivering around 150W rms, and you will be set.
The Wet Sounds Pro and Rev series are awesome performing speakers no doubt. But, for a surf specific tower setup, you do not need an HLCD.
