I dont need the tie downs, but i will comment on them if anyone looking is kind of iffy about them.

I have had the manual ones that we take on and off of the boat and trailer each time and they performed just as well as these do, but the catch comes with the simplicity. Someone one day forgot to put the ones that come off back in the truck after they were removed, and they were never found. When i bought my new Tige the tie downs that came with it were attached to the trailer, now every time its as easy as unhook and go or hook and leave. Easier to buy these one time than lose a few pairs of the others.

And they really are awesome i personally have never had any problems or complaints.
