Hey ragboy, I know you're a Samson dealer now. Do you have pics of the new swivel rack for the Tige Alpha Z towers? I saw them on Saturday at my dealer and they are SWEET! One button swivel release FTW!

They definitely have the wakesurf rack. The boat at my dealer had a wakeboard rack on one side and a wakesurf rack on the other. From the sounds of it, he's not even ordering the Tige racks anymore because the Samson one is so sweet!

No, this is for the Alpha Z (like the post title states). I don't know if they fit the E tower or not, I doubt that they would.

I'm not interested in buying but thought that owners with the Alpha Z would DEFINITELY be interested! I think it will fit existing Samson towers too - not sure though.

I saw them when he was working on them, but not ready yet, but I think they are done. Not sure on the mount for the alpha z, I will know in a few hours.

I would have to see a demonstration of how they differ from the Tige racks, but the Tige racks do use a single button push to release the swivel lock. Do the Samson racks use bungees to secure the boards? And is the swivel angle different than the Tige racks? Because one frustration with the factory racks is that the bindings of the top wakeboard will hit the extended bimini when they swivel in.

I have thought about making a retrofit "latch" for my Tige racks as well (I have a madchine shop) I hate that screw design.

Thomas, I solved that 2 yrs ago, pics are already posted around here somewhere. I had them modified to latch when swiveled out and reinforced with a gusset. No more screw-down anchor.

Do a search for "broken 06 board rack" if you cant find it, let me know.
